m\u00e5nga forskare l\u00e4gger ner mycket tid och energi p\u00e5. Stina Simonsson, professor och forskare vid G\u00f6teborgs universitet leder ett forskar-team som har utvecklat en djupg\u00e5ende f\u00f6rst\u00e5else f\u00f6r hur stamceller kan omprogrammeras f\u00f6r att skapa personaliserade och livsf\u00f6r\u00e4ndrande terapier.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ac22045 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ac22045\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Utvecklar behandlingar f\u00f6r kn\u00e4skador<\/strong><\/p><p>I dag lider en av fyra svenskar \u00f6ver 45 \u00e5r av n\u00e5gon grad av artros. Dr. Simonsson och hennes grupp b\u00f6rjade forska p\u00e5 en l\u00f6sning f\u00f6r detta utbredda problem genom att utveckla mini-kn\u00e4n i provr\u00f6r, odla iPS-celler och l\u00e5ta dem styras mot att bli broskceller. Dessa mini-kn\u00e4n bidrog till en \u00f6kad f\u00f6rst\u00e5else f\u00f6r mekanismerna bakom vad som orsakar brosket att f\u00f6rfalla.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-dfc4212 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"dfc4212\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Bioprinting av personaliserade implantat<\/strong><\/p><p>Med en f\u00f6rst\u00e5else f\u00f6r vad som f\u00e5r stamceller att bli till brosk, uppt\u00e4ckte Dr. Simonsson och hennes team en ny grad av personalisering genom att anv\u00e4nda CELLINKs bioprinter BIO X f\u00f6r att utveckla patientspecifika konstruktioner. Dessa iPSC-laddade konstruktioner printades med en kombination av nanocellulosa och alginat. Optimering av biobl\u00e4cket m\u00f6jliggjorde sedan inte bara ett mer exakt print, utan ocks\u00e5 mer s\u00e4kerhet under print-processen, vilket i sin tur s\u00e4kerst\u00e4llde h\u00f6g cellviabilitet och h\u00f6g sannolikhet f\u00f6r differentiering. Denna process innebar en robust konstruktion med ECM-proteiner som utvecklades i \u00f6verfl\u00f6d. N\u00e4r det bioprintade brosket sedan j\u00e4mf\u00f6rdes med <em>in vivo<\/em> brosk var de oskiljaktiga, \u00e4ven med kirurgiskt tr\u00e4nade \u00f6gon.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-7c6e178 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"7c6e178\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Fr\u00e5n forskning till kliniska terapier<\/strong><\/p><p>Efter att framg\u00e5ngsrikt visat att brosk kan bioprintas, skiftar teamet nu fokus till att \u00f6vers\u00e4tta denna forskning till kliniska terapier. F\u00f6r att g\u00f6ra det st\u00e4lls teamet inf\u00f6r ett antal utmaningar. Till exempel beh\u00f6ver man hitta ett material som har samma reologiska egenskaper som deras biobl\u00e4ck men som \u00e4nnu mer liknar m\u00e4nniskans och \u00e4ven m\u00f6jligg\u00f6r enklare navigering genom de regulatoriska hinder som finns n\u00e4r forskning omvandlas till behandlingar.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
