Nicolas is our Chief Security Officer, who has 20+ years’ experience working within the cyber security industry. As Chief Security Officer, Nicolas and his team work to establish, maintain, and improve the BICO companies information security management system.
1. What do you do at BICO?
With the BICO Cyber Security team, we are establishing, maintaining, and continuously improving the BICO companies information security management system. In other words, the BICO Cyber Security team is providing cyber security services to all BICO companies. We are managing, implementing, operating, and monitoring several policies, methodologies, procedures, and controls to preserve the security of BICO companies’ business critical information.
2. What excites you most about working at BICO?
If I should select one very exciting project during past year, I would select the Hackday event in Helsinki, where we were having CELLINK BIO X printers security tested by 50 white hat hackers. That event enabled us to identify valuable development areas in secure software development processes and security architectures that we were able to share and leverage to other BICO companies developing similar products and technologies.
3. What do you enjoy most being at BICO?
This one is easy: Securing the future of health!
